PERSONAL LESSONS ONE ON ONE
If you are looking to learn on how to apply makeup for yourself, whether you are a beginner or someone that has basic Knowledge of applying makeup, this lesson is for YOU.
I will guide you and show you how to put makeup by demonstrating on one side of your face. You will practice the same technique learnt by applying makeup to the opposite side of your face. This lesson is personalised based on your level of experience and I can cater to your needs and what you want to learn.
You can bring your own makeup tools/brushes and your existing makeup kit. Remember it is all about YOU taking home the skill learnt and applying that knowledge with the use of your own personal makeup. You will also have opportunities to use different makeup brands from my kit and I can also recommend products I feel will be useful to you. You will walk away feeling confident applying your own makeup and understanding what colours best suit you.

As a makeup artist we are always finding ways of learning new techniques on how to create that flawless makeup look for our clients. Come in open minded. This lesson is to build on your existing knowledge about makeup artistry. I will share with you my tips and tricks on how I apply makeup to my clients. I will also share my knowledge and experiences on how I work and manage my freelance cliente as well as share with you my experiences in working on editorial, bridal and e-commerce jobs.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
Effectively clean and sanitise makeup in between clients. Hygiene is most important.
Skincare/skin Preparation- how to prepare the skin prior to makeup application to ensure makeup lasting all day.
Eye Makeup- Learn how to apply eye makeup for different eye shapes and colour. Identify colours for Day and Night makeup looks. Choosing the right set of lashes to compliment the eye and client needs.
Eyebrows - create Perfectly shaped Brows to frame the face.
Foundation/ Base- Identify your clients skin type to determine the appropriate foundation. Learn how to accurately match client’s skin colour and tone.
Learn new application techniques to create the flawless base and maximise longevity.
Techniques on applying Blush, Contour, highlighting- Direct and show where to place certain products and discuss placement for different face shapes.
Lips - how to enhance the lips and choosing lipstick colours to suit skin tone.
You can also bring your existing professional makeup kit (optional), you will also be able to experiment with new products. Recommendations will also be given about makeup products from my kit that I feel would really benefit you.
